Pre Season in Full Swing

Preparations for the exciting season ahead is already gathering momentum with great numbers training.

Ready, steady, ........ train - The Pre Season is underway with strength and conditioning on Saturday mornings "Savage Saturdays" as they are affectionately known are held under the guidance of Strength & Conditioning Coach Kev Shattock. Great numbers have been turning up with many new faces being welcomed into the fold alongside many familiar ones. Great atmosphere and fun alongside the sweat.

Tuesday & Thursday evenings sees training at the club with a prompt start at 7:00pm either in the clubhouse or on the grass, new players are welcome as we will be running 3 competitive sides this season.

Work tirelessly, constantly developing and improving on the latest coaching methods, the coaching team has huge amount of professional rugby experience and make it a fun as well as challenging environment.

Players get their own tailored development programmes and one of the most pleasing aspects of life at Harrogate Rugby Club is the number of players who graduate through the Mini & Junior ranks and into Adult rugby, many going on to play First XV and representative rugby.

Pre Season Openers at Rudding Lane Sheffield Tigers are returning to Rudding Lane on Saturday 12th August with two thrilling matches on the cards. First match kicks off at 13:00.
