'Gate hungry to get back to winning rugby
Harrogate are eager to erase the frustrations and disappointment of last Saturday when Stourbridge arrive on Saturday 26th KO 3pm.
Having started the season with two wins Harrogate disappointingly lost at home to Sandal courtesy of a last minute drop goal by former Harrogate player Mark Pease.
The final score of 23 points to 26 hurt Gate who had taken the lead during the second half having clawed back an interval deficit of 8 points to 17.
However this coming Saturday brings about an ideal opportunity to put the downside of last Saturday behind as Stourbridge visit Rudding Lane.
Hot favourites for promotion over the last two seasons, Stour did not reached the heights expected then but now with a large influx of new players hope rises for them again to regain their place in National 1.
However with one win from the three games played Stourbridge are obviously taking some time to gel and with Gate determined to get back on the horse after last Saturday a superb match is in prospect.
Please be there to support the boys. The comment was that Sandal made more noise in supporting their team last Saturday than the Harrogate supporters did so let's put things right off the pitch as well as on it this week.
