Harrogate's skipper Jake Brady makes his 200th National League appearance for Harrogate in the crucial clash with Preston Grasshoppers at Rudding Lane this Saturday, kick off 2pm.
With both clubs along with Wharfedale are locked together on 17 points in the three relegation places at the bottom of the league so the prize of winning league points is invaluable. Such is the closeness of the league however, a win for either side could lift them out of the bottom three into safer waters.
Harrogate's home form has improved lately with three wins recorded from the last four home matches. Preston on the other hand have slipped after early season promise and had the frustration of their home game being postponed last week because of a frozen pitch. Last season the victories went with home advantage and Gate will be hoping the sequence continues this Saturday.
However a tough match is in prospect with no quarter being given.
Harrogate will not be lacking in motivation and are determined to provide the result that will let captain Jake Brady enjoy an evening of celebration to mark his 200th appearance.
