Harrogate will be looking to ease their way away from the lower regions of the National 2 North table tomorrow when Luctonians head north looking to gain a double over the home side following their impressive 33 points to 5 win at Leominster last September.
However things have not gone too well for Lucs recently and they have suffered eight consecutive defeats in dropping to eleventh in the league just three places above Harrogate.
Whilst Harrogate were beaten by 19 points to 15 at South Leicester last Saturday they nevertheless gave a spirited display and the result could well have gone the other way but another losing bonus point was all there was to show.
The performance was full of promise though and Gate will be looking to build upon that at Rudding Lane tomorrow.
The team spirit is as good as ever and a large and vocal crowd would help to lift the boys for a crucial match for both sides.
