Morley and Harrogate meet after a gap of several seasons as old rivalries are due to recommence in the North Premier League at the Stratstone Stadium.
Local rivals Morley visit Rudding Lane for the 13th round of this season's league matches.Harrogate will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing reversal at Lymm last Saturday whilst Morley will be endeavouring to improve their fortunes as they remain at the bottom of the league and are experiencing a difficult season having won only one match to date. However they have shown a distinct improvement of late and will be including two ex Harrogate players in their ranks in captain and leading points scorer Mark Chester and inside centre Andy Ellis both of whom played several games for Gate at the old Claro Road ground. It is a must win game for Harrogate if they are to keep in touch with the top three clubs and continue to strive for a top or second place play off position in the league.
A good sized crowd is expected for the final home first team match of the season to be followed by a visit to Sandal next Saturday.
The Georgians are also playing at home as they clash with Morley Cavaliers and will be determined not to slip up after convincingly beating Wharfedale Foresters last Saturday in the Northern Pilot league and Yorkshire Premier League where they now sit in second place.Next Saturday sees the Georgians play the Pilot League leaders Darlington Mowden Park kicking off at 2pm.at Rudding Lane.
In the 3rd home game of the day this week the Harrogate Vets are in action so The Stratstone Stadium will be a busy place and a hat trick of home wins would be most welcome.
