Rampant Georgians win away at DMP
A superb display saw the Georgians secure an emphatic win on the road at DMP.
After going behind during the first 15 minutes where DMP dominated territory and possession to a well worked try the Georgians started to get to grips with their task and sparked by a superb try by debutant Harry Jukes to close the score 7 v 5.
Tommy Ferguson made a superb midfield break to split the DMP defense before finding Connor Miller in support to score s superb try and with Hampo adding the extras a lead of 5 v 12.
Another debutant Tommy Fergusson then got onto the score sheet with a superb individual try and a lead of 5 v 19.
A sweeping counter attack by the Georgians then saw Luke Riddell score and the half time score DMP 7 v 26 Georgians.
The work-rate in defense was proving profitable as both sides were trying to play expansive rugby and it was the forced turnovers and superb work rate in defense that was the real difference between the two sides.
Euan Millers brilliant inside line then split the DMP defense and stretched the lead to 7 v 33.
Harry Jukes then bagged his second showing incredible pace and a lead of 7 v 40.
DMP are a good side with lots of indivdually gifted players who kept going and always looking to play expansive rugby, a penalty gave them an attacking platform and after eight phases scored close to the posts 14 v 40
Almost from the kick off a brilliant individual effort saw DMP score again and 21 v 40.
The Georgians then regained control with tries by Tim Heaton and Jack Spurr saw a 21 v 54 lead and a final score by DMP saw a final score of 26 v 54
