Friends Old and New

The afternoon sunshine saw two teams meet at the centre of the pitch to take a minutes silence in memory of Brooke Firth a member of Sandal Beasts who had died 2 days earlier.
Harrogate got the game underway with a kick to their opposition which they were quick to follow up. Harrogate briefly threatened Brods line before Brods won a turnover ball that they then ran and passed to score.
Despite several good passages of defense, Harrogate were down 5 tries at half- time.
A change of ends saw a determined start from Harrogate but the experience of Brods proved too great for the home side who went down 11 tries and 5 conversions to nil.
