Harrogate kicked off to an impressive start, creating unstoppable attacking play off their dominant set piece to see them 15 points up in the opening 17 minutes with tries from Emma Winstanley, Amy Battel and Emily Rushton.
The hosts continued to be caught up in the one way traffic, with Harrogate’s pack linking up with the back line to create overwhelming forward momentum.
Extending themselves into a comfortable lead before the break, Sarah Foster, Charlotte Warriner and Rushton added more points to the board with a conversion from Freya Wilde giving them a 32-0 upper hand at the half time whistle.
Refuelled from the short break, Harrogate wasted no time in adding to their lead with a scrum on the half way line setting the platform for a blind attack from Wilde finished with Warriner under the posts.
Harrogate played their usual quick offload attack with the support adding pressure to the hosts defence, resulting In Battel crossing the line one again.
But, the visitors were not without having to defend their own try line with show stopping tackles from Lauren Clarkson ending some marginal Sheffield hopes of glory.
Before the final whistle, Harrogate added a further two tries through the hands of whippet Lauren Bolger following great attacking play from Christine Pratt, Izzy Harris and Nieve Jones.
Next up in league action, Harrogate welcome Barnsley Rugby Club to Rudding Lane on Sunday December, 8.
