Aklam vs Harrogate

Once again 'Gate looked unconvincing and conceded a try in each half.

It was a tight game with the home team enjoying the better territorial possession. The visitors made a number of errors in handling and tackling and it was from a combination of such errors that Acklam took the lead.

Cam Roberts scored Harrogate's only points from a penalty between the posts with the last play of the first half.

The second half followed the pattern of the first with Acklam scoring relatively quickly.

A poor day for the visitors was made worse by an injury to Hal Butler who has to date been one of the team's better performers.
