U9's the 1st XV of 2027

Two teams of Harrogate Under 9's showed the 1st XV the enthusiasm and commitment required on a cold and wet day.
The kids were delighted to get the chance to play on the main pitch as the 1stXV 'warmed' up. The under 9's have progressed rapidly in their first year of contact and some fine skills were on show, despite the conditions.
Tom was awarded the man of the match, for not only tackling and passing well, but also listening to and acting on the coaches advice!
I hope the crowd enjoyed the matches as much as the kids did.
Well done to the 1st XV, who inspired by the kids roaring them onto the pitch for their match against Preston, ground out a well deserved win, in challenging conditions.
