Rucking and Mauling, but beware the Ref!

Good two teams of 8 with a couple of rolling subs, both teams won one lost one, some really good rucking and mauling, nice to see some of the boys doing the hard work in the tight rather than just Waiting for the ball to run with, some good work getting over the ball, Jo Heffron, Alex Lambert and Matthew Allison did some great mauling and rucking, we got some good turnover ball by holding up the mauls and getting the scrum. Nice to see them linking the ruck and maul to passing down the line, still need to work on them supporting the runner and the runners getting to ground quickly so we and recycle quickly and not get into big up front battles.

Think they all enjoyed it and they enjoyed the 15 mins each way, a full hour of play should tire them out.

The ref on the top pitch had a lot on his hands and even had to sin bin a player, it's getting feisty out there
