Middlesborough Away

Most of the team caught the bus from Rudding Lane for the journey up to Aklam Park. Arrived in plenty of time for a warm up that finished off with an intense full contact session - we had our game heads on! We started with pace and intensity that remained for most of the game. With our forwards putting in some great close-quarters rugby against a much bigger pack, together with excellent tackling, line speed and support play from across the team, meant that our wings were able to find the space out wide. A great all-round performance from Will Handley and lots of hard yards made by newbie Joshua Bland topped off a fantastic first match of the season. Well done to all the boys!
