Sunday morning bought traditional rugby weather to Rudding Lane. Driving rain and a strong wind, meant it was going to be hard work against a confident Wetherby side. The scoreline says it all. But for last ditch try saving tackles on the line, Wetherby would have drawn the game. This would have probably been a fair result, as they were in the ascendency in the closing moments. Harrogate battled hard with experimental sides and formations. There were some excellent solo efforts, but the moment of the morning was Issac Hall sprinting free to score his first try for Harrogate U13's. Thanks go to Wetherby for helping us with the Referee situation, a tricky job, but one that was done very well. Well done lads, Ilkley up next.
