Tough test at Ilkley.

After a lovely trip over the tops, quite a few of the U13s forgot that they were in Ilkley to play rugby. It was a very slow start for 'Gate and we were lucky not to concede. We finally calmed down and got some shape back into our play. There were a couple of lovely individual tries, as we started to control the game. Ilkley were very strong, counter rucking and spoiling at the breakdown. There were two wonderful team tries, for Harrogate as the forwards drove forward and good hands saw tries finished out wide. We kick returned well and put in some great tackles at crucial times. Overall a decent performance after a slow start. Next up Yorkshire Cup.
