with a comprehensive victory over local rivals Wetherby 2nd XV. While the forwards continued to set a solid platform it was the overall pace of the side that caused the visitors so many problems.
Although wasteful early in the game, they soon gained a foothold and scored some quite spectacular tries including a full length effort from Nick Fallon, who broke from a scrum in his own half and his weaving run left a string of would be tacklers in his wake.
The classic three quarter line led by skipper James Tapster and orchestrated by Ollie Myers resulted in great team tries for the likes of Alex Hutchinson, Bale and four late tries by Alex Savage whose mazy runs and finishing were quite exceptional.
When Cal Fenn swapped positions for the final quarter with Ollie Myers, the tries continued to flow as the hard working Wetherby team eventually began to fade.
Not to be out done, the Forwards added to the total with make shift flankers George Rutter and George Maslaveckas crossing.
There were also great contributions from the engine room up front through Tom O'Sullivan, Harry Crawford, Bryn Kitching, Joe Hay, Matt Edgar, Andy Young, Richard Symmonds and the ever green Kevin Shattock.
