Gracious Giles gives Goole gift.

Following last weeks unannounced visit of five players from Thirsk.
Goole demanded a match but had only 8 players (2 teams) to challenge the numerous eager sharks.
3 pitches with Goole v hgate on two of them and hgate v hgate on the other gave our players chance to show parents, coaches and Goole how much they had learned so far. However, Goole had other ideas and showed hgate how to organise a defence with very good communication down their defensive line.
All matches were very close, the deciding factor being Rory J who played very well scoring freely for both hgate and Goole when they were reduced to seven. Thanks also to Giles who played for Goole too, also scoring a try for them in the process!
Two outstanding tries were scored passing through all our players hands at least once, especially rewarding as this was at the core of our targets for the day.

More required next week, with an away adveture to Wharfedale. Hopefully, the away trip to Goole doesn't dampen Dave's enthusiasm to get Jackson to the game!!
