Quagmire at Claro resulted in matches at Granby against two teams we had previously played before Christmas. The wet weather and cold conditions encouraged an alomst full turn out from the Sharks. Fielding four teams with a further 7 subs as well as few
Fantastic effort by all to not only make it through the mud to the pitch but also to display the skill levels required to have fun and keep warm.
With an impetus of new coaching staff and the support of the ever helpful pocklington and wharfedale coaches we were able to run four pitches easily as well as help out those stingrays that turned up.
Special note this week to Barney and Rory who were able to find the biggest mudiest puddle to slide through! Not sure if their kit will ever be the same again.
