Harrogate travelled to Wetherby after the previous weeks trip to North Leeds. Four games of rugby were played with Wetherby borrowing a few players from Harrogate giving both clubs two teams each.
The first round of games saw a 2-2 draw in a game that Harrogate Reds had plenty of chances to win but unfortunately just couldn't get the ball grounded for what would have been a decisive try. Harrogate Yellows managed to grab a narrow 5-4 victory to Harrogate Yellows.
Second round of games saw Harrogate Reds victorious 4-3 in a close run game. Harrogate Yellows suffered a 9-1 defeat at the hands of Wetherby who were able win the battle of the breakdown comprehensively in this game.
Overall this resulted in 2 wins a draw and one loss which is a great return from a trip to Wetherby. Some good rugby was played in wintery conditions.
Next week sees Moortown at Rudding Park which will promise to be another competitive fixture.
