Bees Stung by HGT...

Superb result and great run out today, with 10 try's being scored over the game. It was a forwards game really with us spending most of the time camped on their 22, we proved to be too strong on the day and the squad should be proud of the result. Yes there are areas that we still need to look at, namely keeping our shape and keeping alert to quick tap penalties, we also need to watch the offside and how we strayed too far too often.

We had some very good strong runs from Jack Ball which resulted in a score at the end of them, James put in some great runs and Luke bagged a brace today! Big thanks go to Luke and Isaac for offering their services to the Bee's when they lost a player, note to Luke though whilst I understand you wanting a hat trick its best not to put one past your team mates ;)... The backs played well getting up quick to stop them running back at us and when we moved the ball we did it quickly and effectively. There are always frustrations when we have to play passive scrums like we did today, but we also have to be safe especially in the front row.

We had a good day today and you deserve the credit for a good first round Yorkshire Cup game, well done and a good result.
