The Tap and Tuk Tuk is a classic English pub at heart — hand-pulled Timothy Taylor’s,
great largers, good wine, friendly faces, and that familiar hum of conversation. Tap & Tuk
Tuk is located at 26–30 Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1DQ, right in the heart of

But step past the bar and you’ll hear the real soundtrack — Chef Gary on the wok.
Flames up. Pans flying. Big heat, bold flavour.
Instead of steak & ale pie, you’ll find pulled pork Phanaeng, fragrant Thai food, and
crispy Cantonese belly pork with proper crackling. Korean fried chicken that actually
crunches. Pad Thai that hits sweet, sour, and savoury in one go. Kung Po with kick.
Massaman “beef pie” that nods to the pub but leans into spice.
We wanted amazing Asian cooking without the formality or inflated prices —
somewhere you can grab a pint of Landlord, order bang bang cauliflower or crispy chilli
beef, and settle in for the night.

Housed within a beautifully restored Victorian townhouse, The Inn combines the
warmth of a country pub with the comfort and style of a boutique stay. Upstairs, our
individually designed rooms range from elegant doubles to spacious suites with roll-top
baths — the perfect place to unwind after a day in town or exploring Yorkshire’s

Rudding Park Hotel – Reservations required
Walking distance from Harrogate RUFC, this elegant hotel has an award-winning
restaurant and a luxury spa. An excellent 18-hole golf course runs through the 19th-
century parkland. Modern rooms at Rudding Park overlook the gardens or the chapel,
each featuring a flat-screen TV. With sleek tiled bathrooms, some rooms also boast a
balcony or private terrace. The Spa at Rudding Park offers an indoor swimming pool,
juniper log sauna and bucket shower. Guests can upgrade to access the Roof Top Spa
and Garden, which offers an extensive range of thermotherapy and hydrotherapy
experiences with views over the mature gardens. The hotel also has a gym and a private
cinema. Rudding Park’s golf facilities include a floodlit driving range, 6-hole short course
and chipping and putting greens. Guests also have professional coaches at hand.
Where dinner is included in a rate it is a £46 per adult food allowance towards dinner in
Clocktower or Horto. Serving seasonal dishes, Clocktower Restaurant’s offers a range
of menus and the stylish conservatory offers light meals and coffee. Head to Horto for a
fun social vibe and choose from a selection of plates using the best ingredients packed
full of flavour.

We have space on the club grounds for Caravans and Mobile Homes. Some electric
points are also available by booking.

At Rhubarb, our cooking is rooted in a modern approach to classical French cuisine —
reinterpreting traditional flavour pairings and familiar dishes through contemporary
technique and thoughtful creativity.
Head Chef Varun brings an inventive perspective to the kitchen, exploring how classical
ideas can be refined, reimagined and occasionally given an unexpected twist. Alongside
this foundation, subtle Asian influences weave through the menu, with delicate spice
and aromatic depth reflecting touches of his Indian heritage.
The result is a style of cooking that feels both familiar and surprising — grounded in
classical principles, yet open to modern expression.

Transport:
Our location in Rudding Lane is just under a mile from Pannal Railway Station, with
trains running frequently between Leeds – Harrogate – York and beyond with
connections. UBER Taxis are very convenient in the area.
There is also the 36 bus stop at Pannal in both directions, running approximately every
15 minutes to Leeds in one direction and Harrogate in the other.
