The Club is sad to learn of the passing of former club captain and player Alan Everson.
Those who knew Alan will remember him as a strong back row forward.
Alan began playing for HRUFC in the 1970-71 season.
He was HRUFC Club captain from 1974-1976.
Alan continued to play for the other 5 senior teams run by Harrogate RUFC until the 1984-85 season.

In 1989-90 he was a coaching advisor to the Club alongside Roger Shackleton and Jeff Young.

A celebration of Alan's life will be held at Harrogate Rugby Club, Rudding Lane on Wednesday 10th September from 2pm onwards. All welcome.
