Next up was Anselmians over on the Wirral, who finished 2nd in North West Regional 1. This one proved a nailbiter with Harrogate leading 14-17 at halftime, but trailing 40-24 with 10 minutes to go. A try by Will Hill, and then another by Kristen Dobson , both converted, left a 2 point gap into the final minute. A foul tackle near the line gave Jack Mallinson the chance to kick the winning points with the last play of the game.

Finally a trip to Rossendale, who had strengthened their team before the deadline a few months back. The Rossendale side was packed with some star talent but the teamwork, togetherness and sheer resolve of the Harrogate team saw them through. Leading 0-14 at half time, Harrogate were pulled back to 7-14. They extended the lead to 7-21, before Rossendale struck back to 14-21 with 10 minutes left. Harrogate's defensive effort was superb throughout and with Mallinson having left the field near halftime with an injury, Tom Steene duly took over kicking duties and nailed 2 conversions. As the game came to an end, Harrogate's game management strategy kept them in possession for the last 5 minutes to see the game out.
