You could either say we were lucky today or you could say it takes a good team to win when you’re not at your best. We weren’t at our best but there were glimpses of the team we could become, our driving maul will be a threat to every team this season and when we click in attack we play some very entertaining rugby.
Sheffield tigers is always a tough away trip and the lads dug in when they needed to. Defensively we were much improved, the next challenge for the team is to improve at relieving pressure and minimising unforced errors. A challenge I know us coaches and the players will tackle head on. We have a couple of huge challenges ahead of us before a much deserved week off for the lads
