A Game of Two Halves – The boys went into half-time with a deserved 7–5 lead before Tynedale scored a couple of early tries in the second half to take control of the game. Despite this, the boys dug deep to secure a fourth-try bonus point in the final moments.
The focus this week was on delivering an improved performance and restoring some pride in the jersey following last week, and we certainly showed character and a step in the right direction. There’s still work to do, particularly in staying in the game for longer periods, but plenty of positives to build on.
Next steps are to continue working hard on the training pitch and use the rest week to recover before a big return to Rudding Lane in two weeks’ time
