Harrogate faced Keswick for the second time this season, but on home ground this time.
The match was shrouded in fog with misty rain sweeping across making for low visibility. Harrogate forced mistakes on Keswick and saw Keswick penalised several times.
Unfortunately, Harrogate conceded a substantial number of tries, with four tries scored against them in the first half. Harrogate were fighting the Falcons until the last minute of the try being scored with hard tackles right on the try line.
Half-time saw the fog and conditions worsen, with Gate taking a number of breaks but none led to a try. The Falcons scored two more tries before the final whistle blew.
For Harrogate, this was a match against one of the top team in the league, made more difficult by player availability. No player from Gate was in their usual position, with wingers moved to flank, second rows at prop, flankers at scrum-half, and everything in between. The women left everything on the pitch and had a terrific game of rugby where the score truly did not reflect the work at play.
