The home team played well with good attacking play and resolute defence and were well captained by George Wilton who led by example.
Sam Croft opened the scoring picking up from the edge of a ruck to cross the line.
The forwards put Moortown under pressure from the start and there was also some very good running from the backs, notably Matt Wood and Olly Rosillo.
Both Olly Rosillo and Cameron Roberts scored twice in the first half to make the scoreline 25 - 0 at half time.
Rosillo's tries showed his usual lightning pace and change of direction while Robert's tries followed an outrageous dummy and then some very quick thinking from a penalty near the Moortown line.
In the second half Scott Stevenson scored twice, Rosillo claimed his hatrick with a very strong run dragging the majority of the Moortown forwards back over their own line and Matt Wood scored a well deserved try.
The home team scored nine tries but only converted three.
Overall a very pleasing performance with a scoreline that was perhaps harsh on the visitors.
William Ellis, at prop, was considered to be the man of the match.
