Four tries from ‘Gate’s winger Harry Parrish spearheaded a 48 – 5 win for Harrogate U16s at home to a competent York side on Sunday.
A first half hat trick from the unstoppable Harry Parrish rounded off some outstanding moves from a dominant Harrogate team performance and earned his father a tour fine with his electric finishing. A conversion from Will Clough and a consolation try to York’s Will Bell saw ‘Gate go in 17 – 5 up at the interval only for Harry Parrish to open the second half scoring with his fourth for the day shortly after the restart.
Harry should have had a fifth when he selflessly gave the ball to Elliot Lewis to touch down. The rest of the points came from hooker Alex Nicholls, centre Matt Wood and scrum half Will Hebblethwaite who each converted their own tries.
