The final game of the season resulted in Harrogate scoring 6 tries against Wensleydale and although the opposition scored 3 times it was a comfortable victory for the lads. Harrogate played some great rugby with the forwards creating a lot of ball for the backs which allowed scrum half Alistair Holloway to feed Jack Whiting who powered over the line for the first try.

Strong forward play by Connor Spence , Ollie Bryant and Will Tomalin piled pressure on Wensleydale and it was not long before Joe Nichols smashed his way through the opposition defence for the second try. Shortly afterwards a slick passing move by the backs allowed Josh Pomfret to score a third try.

The backs continued to cause problems for Wensleydale by running hard at the opposition with Harry Wilson ,Jonty Trott and James Littlejohn proving very difficult to stop. After a strong run by James the forwards picked up the ball with Myles ,Tom and Rory combining to push Wensleydale back allowing Alastair the opportunity to score on the blind side.

At 26-0 complacency started to creep into the game allowing Wensleydale to score but some strong running by Rory resulted in a further try and a well worked backs move created space for Harry to score try number 6. Some poor tackling allowed Wensleydale to score two further tries but they were well beaten.

A great end to the season and the signs for next season are extremely positive.
